Mr and Mrs Roo visit London
Posted by Roo - 11/08/06 at 09:08:04 pmI had to go to London for a couple of days to work with a customer in Notting Hill. Mrs Roo met me there on Wednesday night, and we enjoyed a lovely evening together being touristy.
After a deliciously noodly meal at Wagamama we took our first ever spin in the London Eye, before exploring Leicester Square and finally getting a rickshaw back to the Travelodge in Drury Lane. Great fun.

I think Wagamama has become so cool because of the name, it’s just fun to say. The US place I was thinking of yesterday is PF Changs, which is a Chinese place not a Chinese and Japanese place as I’d thought.

I’ve been on the Eye 3 or 4 times now, and I have to say that I always look forward to it – it is one of those attractions that is really worthwhile. You’ve captured some fabulous photos here, Roo – nice one!

I made the mistake of going into Wagamamas for a chilled out evening meal with Hanan after some hectic shopping.
We were in and out of there in less than 20 minutes which wasn’t quite the what we’d had in mind.
I really liked the food in there though, good noodles :)

Darren: Thanks for that. I’ll lout out for it next time I go over.
Andy: glad you like em. I already want to go back.
Rob: doesn’t sound like a relaxing evening out. Yummy food though. :-)
