روو ريينولدس

Thanks to Rob’s new(ish) blog I recently learned that my name in Arabic would be transliterated as روو ريينولدس

Great stuff Rob.

  1. Wow. Makes for a really interesting URL, which I don’t think I’d try typing out longhand.

  2. Hah. Testing XP, Live Writer, Firefox and WordPress was part of the plan. They all performed as well or better than expected. IE 6 is rendering the previous post, H2 current tile and next post oddly (and I should probably fix it), but it seems to do that regardless of alphabet anyway. :-)

  3. Most things seem to cope pretty well with Arabic when it is used in isolation, however in our current project we’ve had all kinds of funky things happen under Firefox when mixing Arabic with html tags and non Arabic words

  4. For some reason, the trackback has broken from my blog to here. Thanks to Roo for deleting the broken entry. Here’s some manual linking action…
