I remember last year when I asked an auditorium room full of British university students how many were on MySpace, and only a couple of hands went up. Of course, they were all on Facebook.
These days, it seems everyone is talking about it.
- It doesn’t have great advertising clickthrough (to be honest, I didn’t notice the ads. Must be my Firefox + adblock I guess).
- Scoble won’t shut up about it.
- Even Murdoch admits that MySpace users are flocking to Facebook.
I like it a lot more since it opened up an API. These days everything is an app on Facebook (including Twitter, Flickr, Del.icio.us, Dopplr, …). I quite like the Friend Wheel app. Here’s how my friends inter-relate (thanks Guy). You won’t know all of these people, but you might know some of them.
Here’s my profile. (I’m using my real name of ‘Andrew’ rather than ‘Roo’ there for some reason). If I know you, feel free to add me.

’tis done. Thanks for the nudge (I’m really bad at adding links, and actually assumed you were there already).
