Facebook

I remember last year when I asked an auditorium room full of British university students how many were on MySpace, and only a couple of hands went up. Of course, they were all on Facebook.

These days, it seems everyone is talking about it.

I like it a lot more since it opened up an API. These days everything is an app on Facebook (including Twitter, Flickr, Del.icio.us, Dopplr, …). I quite like the Friend Wheel app. Here’s how my friends inter-relate (thanks Guy). You won’t know all of these people, but you might know some of them.

Here’s my profile. (I’m using my real name of ‘Andrew’ rather than ‘Roo’ there for some reason). If I know you, feel free to add me.

  1. Facebook Friend Wheel… pointless but pretty…

I’m finding my way around Facebook these days — lots of familiar faces. And, at least in some of the groups, colleagues are discussing topics they used to discuss on their blogs… so it’s almost essential to be there. And there’s some fun stuff……
