- guardian.co.uk: ARG start-up Six to Start wins £100k investment – Congratulations to Dan and Adrian: “Nesta, the National Endowment for Science Technology and the Arts, has invested £100,000 in the start-up company Six to Start as part of a strategy to support the rapidly-developing alternate reality gaming sector.”
- Computing, 31 Jan 2008 : Virtual skills for the real world – Article in Computing from Karen Price, chief executive of e-skills UK: “We were fortunate in being able to use IBM’s Second Life facilities to run our special event for employers and university students”
- Deconstructed WP admin theme – “What I’ve really wanted is something super quick to install (a plugin-based theme), something responsive and based on the initial layout, but much cleaner/simpler.” This is a nice looking admin theme. I’ll be trying it soon.
- CIO.com: Companies Explore Virtual Worlds As Collaboration Tools – CIO.com article: “The informality of a virtual world can lead to great conversations,” says Roo Reynolds, an IBM researcher who is working on a virtual world for Big Blue employees. “It leads to discussions that otherwise would have been missed…” [A hat-trick; my third mention in CIO.com in three months]
