The <a href="http://rooreynolds.com/2008/01/03/recent-reading-2/" rel="nofollow">last one was on January 3rd</a> so I read those 7 books in about 5 weeks.

I don't 'speed read' (well, I do speed read technical manuals and reference material, but not when I'm reading novels). I do read quickly though. The biggest trick I found was not to hear the words in your head as you read them. Many people 'subvocalize' what they're reading, which slows them down a lot. Just let yourself read faster than you could read out loud. Hope that helps.

Do you read that many books in a month? Are you a speed reader or do you have some trick? I struggle to find time for that many books in a year, but want to consume more book-information!!
