Time passes. Another year begins. I’ll be 30 before the end of this new one.
It was disturbing to discover my first grey hair yesterday.
It was even more disturbing to discover it inside my left nostril.

Let me slightly modify what Jo said and coin a new term in the process, “Rooooooooooo!”
THAT is my kind of picture.
I’ve only been in my 30’s for about 744 days now (That’s 17 January for you all playing at home…) but I’ve established one rule when it comes to gr(e/a)y hair.
So long as it is above the waistline, its OK!
The image took on another meaning when you pointed out the location
This looks like it must have been dangling down to your chin.
Or it could have started a long way up the nasal passage.
I’ve heard of navel gazing, but nostril gazing is a new one!

Okay, Nasal Gazing it is….it has a certain alliteration that appeals. it appeals more than the grey nasal hair does, anyway.
